Cities Skylines Save Game Location – Path

Check the corresponding subsection depending on whether you use Windows, Mac or Linux

Windows

Find the folder containing all save game or save file – Windows – PC

Windows Save Game Location: %LocalAppData%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Saves

If you don’t know how to find the folder using the path:

1. Press Windows + R
2. Copy “%LocalAppData%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Saves”
3. Paste it in the run window
4. Press OK

Mac

Find the folder containing all save game or save file – Mac – Apple

Mac Save Game Location: ~/Library/Application Support/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/Saves

If you don’t know how to find the folder using the path:

1. Open the finder window
2. Press Command + Shift + G
3. Copy “~/Library/Application Support/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/Saves”
4. Paste it in the text field
5. Press OK

Linux

Find the folder containing all save game or save file – Linux

Linux Save Game Location: ~/.local/share/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/Saves

Cities Skylines Save Game Location – Mods

There are two types of mods and each type is stored in different folders. We tell you where to find each one:

Addon Mods:

The addon mods are stored in the game folders that you have on your computer, folder location varies by computer:

• Windows Mods folder location: %LocalAppData%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons
• Mac Mods folder location: ~/Library/Application Support/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/Addons
• Linux Mods folder location: ~/.local/share/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/Addons

In the previous section, save game, we explained how to find a path if you are not clear about it

Workshop Mods:

The addon mods are stored in the steam folders that you have on your computer

Steam Library Folder\Steamapps\workshop\Content\255710

If you are not sure where the Steam Library Folder is:

1. Launch Steam
2. Click on Steam (top left)
3. Click on Settings (5th option)
4. Go to Downloads (left menu)
5. Click on Steam Library Folders
6. Copy the folder path
7. Paste the folder path into the adress bar (File explorer for Windows or Finder for Mac)

Cities Skylines Save Game Location – Screenshots

There are two types of screenshots, high resolution screenshots are obtained by pressing SHIFT + F12, and they are stored on your computer. But normal screenshots (without high resolution) are obtained by pressing only F12 and are stored in Steam

So here we show you where to find the high resolution screenshots (SHIFT + F12)
