Circulon Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set Review

Circulon Symmetry Cookware Review for 2017: I was arguing with myself whether to purchase a cookware in separate pieces or just buy a whole set. I figured having a cookware set is more economical. I just had to make sure I get every piece I need in the set or I'll just end up with a lot of pots and pans that I won't be able to use.

I figured having a cookware set is more economical. I just had to make sure I get every piece I need in the set or I'll just end up with a lot of pots and pans that I won't be able to use.

With the Circulon Symmetry cookware set, I am able to use every single piece comes with the set.

This set is multi-functional. It can cook dishes as little as 1-quart and up to as many as an 8-quart dish. I use the 1-quart saucepan for boiling eggs, cooking oatmeal, reheating soup. It can fit into my oven as well. The 8-quart pot is thick enough for cooking beef stew and chili beef. Some 8-quart pots are thin stainless steel that burns my thick stew dishes.

The design is bewitching. It has a black interior and exterior color with a comfortable silicon grip handles wrapped in the stainless steel. The brand is properly labeled at the bottom of each piece. It is a proud cookware set boasting its capabilities just by looking at it.

What I love about this set is that it is nonstick inside and out. There's absolutely no stains and deposits inside and outside. Some are probably wondering why we need a nonstick coating at the exterior part of the pot or the pan. I'm not a messy person in the kitchen but when I cook sticky dishes like the Spanish dish tocino, substances can get a little adhesive even on the outside of the pot. This cookware set doesn't allow that sticky option.

Being a nonstick cookware set, it allows me to clean the pieces smoothly. There's no need for me to exhaust myself scrubbing off the stains and deposits in the pots and the pans. I don't need to exert effort like I did with my cast iron pan. I can also have the option to leave it in the dishwasher for cleaning.

My previous cast iron set claims that the handles are "stay-cool" and that it just gets warm during the cooking process. I should know better because my hands have been burned a couple of times. That's why I decided to change my previous cookware set with this one. No burns, just firm and comfortable grip. I'm just a little bothered with some of the pots having short handles.

Circulon Symmetry Cookware Pros:

  • Elegant design
  • Multi-functional pieces
  • Credible nonstick qualities
  • Satisfying warranty services

Circulon Symmetry Cookware Cons:

  • Some faucets are not high enough to cover the 8-quart pot
  • Some pots have short handles

The Circulon Symmetry cookware set is best suited to people who loves to cook sticky and complicated dishes. It can cook for small-medium sized family or the equivalent of 5 grown men. It is best for people with spray nozzle type faucets.

I would have given this a perfect rating if not for the short handles and the need to modify my faucet height. Overall, I'm satisfied with this cookware set and give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
