* Once upon a time : A dad, like all children dream - funny and caring - finds himself deprived of his three children, following his divorce. Daniel Hillard is a dubber of cartoons in life and he will use all his talents as an actor and imitator to ... transform himself into an Irish governess, intractable and perfect in the job. When Ms. Doubtfire introduces herself to the Hillard family, she will be accepted unanimously.

* What they will love: Madame Doubtfire stages an incredibly endearing family, starting with her hero Daniel Hillard / Madame Doubtfire. Robin Williams is perfect in this role, as tailor-made: he is funny, a perfect papa hen but also a big child, and hilarious when he puts on Madame Doubtfire's costume. The film offers him a gold score, showing the immensity of his talent, which we miss so much today. He fully appropriates the two facets of his character, and we immediately believe in the existence of Madame Doubtfire! No wonder the mother sees nothing but fire! The three children of the film

* What can worry them: Little should worry them. The subject of divorce and separation from children may perhaps sadden them a little, but the film is truly a "feel good movie", with a lot of humor and especially tenderness, thanks to the immense sympathy of his double hero.

* What they will keep deep inside: Ms. Doubtfire conveys family values, with humor and tenderness. It is a film that makes you want to hug your parents. He also talks about appearances, since the question of cross-dressing is at the heart of the film. But like any "feel good movie", it is simply a film that does good, with laughter and emotion, and the assurance of having a good time.

Available on Disney Plus, on DVD, and on VOD notably on Canal VOD.
