Cinéma A.B.C.

How many times in a week, a month, a year do you pinch yourself and seriously contemplate whether you’re living in an adorably alternative Disneyland universe? Because that was precisely the train of thought running wild through my mind on Saturday when Elodie took us for a self-guided tour through her hometown of Sanary-sur-Mer.
I remember Elodie telling us that we’d probably be disappointed and it ‘was nothing’, but just look at her local cinema! It’s truly the stuff of dreams. I find it fascinating to study carefully the differences in each of our lifestyles: the rolling waves, breezy palm trees, peony pink walls and baby blue shutters that defined Elodie’s world against the greyness, fresh greenery, thatched roofs and cobbled paths of mine. But really, dat cinema tho.
Elodie, Hannah, Sarah, Sophie and I spent our weekend exploring Marseille and Sanary-sur-Mer, using cheap flights as our excuse to finally visit our favorite French fancy. And we can’t believe it took us so long! Marseille was a picturesque dream with its harbourside views and excellent cuisine; Sanary-sur-Mer a sun-worshipper’s dream full of pastel-fronted havens and glistening sunshine.
Wearing:
(ASOS gingham print off-shoulder dress;
Topshop Fairy lace-up sandals;
Mansur Gavriel Mini Mini bucket bag;
Sunglasses, Specsavers;
Chow Tai Fook Disney Princess white gold crown necklace.)
