Verdict on Cinderella’s Curse

Cinderella’s Curse is a horror thriller following the troubled life of Cinderella and the twisted turn it takes. We know the typical story, but this takes us into a horror world with a very different outcome. It follows Cinderella’s transformation after attending the ball.

This movie continues the era of wanting to turn Disney classics into horror movies. We get to see the fabled tale of Cinderella attending the ball take a twisted turn. This takes a glorious embrace of the original story and covers it with a blood-soaked twist. It has gore from the brutal attacks, and nothing seems to be off the table. This movie grabs the fantasy connection to unleash more supernatural elements, which only enhances the wild ride. The movie has strong performances from a cast that embraces the fantasy figures, whether it be Kelly Rian Sanson as Cinderella or Lauren Budd and Natasha Tosini as the evil stepsisters.

Final ThoughtsCinderella’s Curse embraces the twisted vision of the fairy tale.
