It’s official! According to Michael Ausiello, Christopher Meloni, best known for his role as Elliot Stabler on Law and Order: SVU has joined HBO’s True Blood as a series regular. The TV Line founder broke the news this afternoon, officially confirming his addition after reporting that Meloni was in talks with the series at the end of November.
Ausiello cites True Blood creator and Executive Producer Alan Ball who says Meloni will play:
“An ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) in his hands.”
