I appear to be galloping head first into Christmas. It happens every year. I look forward to it and then before I know it, I haven’t put the Christmas tree up, haven’t sent the Christmas cards or written them for that matter (I’m even considering an Christmas Greetings email, that’s terrible isn’t it? Better for the environment though.), no turkey ordered and there is still a huge list of people I have to get presents for. When will I learn?
So instead of ticking off one of those jobs I’m trying out Christmas cocktails. This one is lovely and it’s high up on the list of likely candidates for the big day.
Christmassy Cranberry Cocktail
25ml tequila
25ml Chambord
75ml cranberry juice
15ml Cointreau
Put the tequila, Chambord and cranberry juice into a shaker with ice. Shake. Fill two glasses with ice and pour 7.5ml of Cointreau into the bottom of each glass. Strain the contents of the shaker into the two glasses and garnish with frozen cranberries.
