Tips For Preventing Soggy Christmas Sandwiches

  • If you are going to make these Sandwiches in advance, make sure you follow these tips to avoid them getting soggy:
  • Make sure you spread condiments all over and without saving on how much you are going to use: spreads act as a barrier between the bread and the other ingredients and prevent your sandwiches from getting completely soaked in water;
  • Use slightly stale bread so that in case liquids will start to spill, they will be absorbed by the bread that, being a bit stale, won't become soggy;
  • Avoid making a sandwich with warm ingredients: warm ingredients create condensation, and condensation makes your bread extremely humid.
