Christmas Style Guide

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean

What is it about Christmas that makes us gooey eyed for glitter and feverish over Fair Isle print? Perhaps it’s the abundance of tinsel and snow topped pine trees or simply the spike in our social calendars. Either way, we’re not complaining. And in the grand scheme of festive fashion, we’ve put together several look books based on our current crushes.
Discover what we’re coveting this season. *Warning* - this collection will make you want to go shopping.

Festive jumpers! No longer the novelty item your Dad would wear out to the local pub in an attempt to embarrass you, oh no. The festive jumper has become a hallmark of Christmas, de rigueur if you will.
Offices all over the UK are making space in their diaries for a Christmas jumper day so if you’re one of the lucky ones it’s time to get your festive knit on. Fair Isle print is a definite crowd pleaser- easy to style across the entire winter period and a classic cold season print, the cost per wear will be so justifiable.
Of course, if you’d like to take advantage of the one time of year when it’s acceptable to wear Santa Claus or Rudolph across your chest, those choices will be met with applause too. Our only advice is to avoid the singing-button jumpers – these are a little too tacky street for our liking.
We’ll be styling our Christmas jumpers with skinny jeans, boots and a red festive handbag such as the Fiorelli Layla satchel.

The Christmas party is the most talked about event in the calendar. It doesn’t matter if yours is at work, with friends, or a slap up family meal, it’s a rare period where everyone gets together and memories are made. Naturally we want to look our best for the occasion, cue hours poring over sparkly dresses and virtual wish lists.
In our opinion, it’s not Christmas without a smattering of glitter so we always try to inject a touch into our festive frock. This rose sequin dress has just the right amount of sparkle and could be worn for a myriad of occasions. Wedges are much easier to walk in than heels after a few glasses of vino and a fur coat pulls the look together beautifully. Add a pint sized evening bag such as the Fiorelli Flapover clutch and the look is complete. Simple, elegant and oh-so glam.
Fiorelli stock a range of exceptionally lovely accessories for the discerning fashionista. Visit the website to browse the latest collection of trend led handbags, purses and jewelry.
