You can do sequins and sparkles for Christmas without resembling a disco ball, just look at this Miss Selfridge dress. It's black, embellished and a flattering shape - ticking all the boxes. The main focus is the dress, so accessories are kept to a minimum. I'd go with the simple Alana Miss KG heels, sequinned clutch from Star by Julien Macdonald and some dainty earrings from No 1 by Jenny Packham.Since it's Christmas, it seems only right that we go for a bold lip and bright nails combination. Here I'd go for YSL, the Rogue Volupte Lipstick perhaps in Rose Paris or Forbidden Burgundy (there's so many shades) and nails in 45 Piment d'ailleurs which is a lovely pinky red. The rest of my makeup I'd keep quite neutral, with a subtle smokey eye courtesy of Urban Decay's Naked Basics 2 palette and a good dose of the Urban Decay Perversion mascara.My current favorite perfume is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, so a spritz of that and I'd be on my way!This is my entry to Debenhams Christmas Party Competition.
