A few shots from my office Christmas party, held December 15th at The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. The dim lighting makes for poor photography but a fantastic view of the various aquatic life housed at the Aquarium - like phosphorescent jelly fish, sea horses and even an octopus. The petting pool is definitely the coolest part - you can touch the shark pups and sting rays. Pretty damn awesome. Planning the party took up the vast majority of my November and December, but it was well worth the work.I typically avoid holiday-themed posts, because my faith's holidays are other than mainstream, but I do celebrate Christmas with my (very, very LDS) family. Regardless of your chosen spiritual path, geographical location or political affiliation, I hope that tonight is one of love and peace for you and the ones you love.
Be sure to check back after Christmas for some awesome posts, including tips for putting together your New Year's outfit on a budget (mine was less than $100), some fun make up looks for rocking your midnight party circuit, 2013 inspiration and trend predictions and the required New Year's resolutions.
