RavPower Lipstick Power Pack Cell Phone ChargerAs a mom, I constantly rely on my cell phone to stay in connected with my older children especially when they stay at home alone, with their friends, or while they are participating in their own activities alone.  While out in about, I am always worried that my battery on my cell phone will die leaving my children without a way to be able to reach me in case of an emergency or to let me know that I need to pick them up.  If I am at the store or running errands, often times I am unable to charge my phone or there isn’t enough time to fully charge my phone in between errands using the car charger.   What if you could instantly charge your cell phone while on the go with an accessory that can easily fit inside of your purse or pocket?  Guess what!  You can actually charge your phone with a device that is small enough to put in your pocket.

Disclosure:  I received this item in exchange for a review.  All opinions are 100% my own and I would never recommend an item to my readers that I didn’t enjoy.

The RAVPower Luster Mini 3000mAh Lipstick Charger can easily extend the life of your battery on your cell phone, smart phone, or tablet.  It is small enough to easily fit in your pocket, purse, laptop bag, or even a diaper bag.  You can charge any type of device that uses a standard USB cable to MicroUSB cable or you can use your own iPhone cable.  This device is perfect for busy moms or dads on the go, people who travel frequently, or for teenagers who are constantly draining the battery on their cell phone.  If the device is fully charged, it will easily add around 6 to 8 hours (talk time) to your cell phone.

I love that this charger.  It is easy to use and has 4 lights to indicate how much power is left on your battery pack.  When it has a full charge, all 4 mini blue lights will light up and will reduce as you use the device to charge your phone.  While testing out the device, I wanted to make sure that you could still use the phone while it was charging.  In fact, I was able to play on my phone while the RAVpower was doing its job.  I also drained my battery on my phone so that I could test out the RAVpower battery pack and it fully charged my phone fairly quickly.  I also like that you don’t have to attach a huge bulky battery pack to the side of your phone or end of the end of an iPhone, like one of my previous battery packs that I had.  Instead, you simply attach the battery pack using the cable provided or a longer USB to micro USB cable for your convenience.  I could easily leave the power pack in my pocket or purse while I was talking on my phone (with a my longer cable).

I love that this device also includes a flashlight.  This will come in handy if I am looking for something or the power goes out in my house.  In order to activate the flashlight you have to hold down the power button for a few seconds until it turns on.  The flashlight is very bright, in fact, my youngest son loves playing with the flashlight.  The flashlight has three modes: low, high, and strobe.

The RAVPower Mini Lipstick Charger comes in the following colors: Black, Silver, Gold, and Pink.  This device is only $17.99 plus shipping.  The package comes with: 1 RAVPower Luster Mini 3000mAh Lipstick Charger, 1 USB Power Wire, and Instruction Manual.  You can use any standard USB wall device to charge the power bank.

I absolutely love this little gadget.  It would make a great white elephant gift, stocking stuffer, or even a gift for yourself.  I love having the ability to change my cell phone while I am out running errands or if the power goes out in my house.  In fact, I made sure that it was fully charged yesterday because the power kept flickering in my house.

RAVPower also has a 10400 external battery pack if you need to charge multiple devices at a time.

Do you have an external battery pack for your cell phone?
