Christmas Gift Guide... Babies

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
If there is anyone I love Christmas shopping for most it's the little people in our lives.  I have a baby niece and this is her first Christmas, and my first chance to spoil her rotten on Christmas day with gifts!
I've decided to do presents for little nieces and nephews that are still babies.  Baby shopping is relevant to me right now and by doing this post I hope to give myself some shopping inspiration! I hope I can do just the same for you!
Christmas Gift Guide... Babies
My little niece Lily is 6 months old right now and is just a little gem.  She's now into everything and has just been bought a jumperoo... (best invention ever and also hilarious) so she is quite active and very into things. Shopping for her can get out of hand as I want to buy her absolutely everything!

Firstly I have gone through various press releases, hunted the stores and found my top 9 Christmas party frocks for babies.
Christmas party dresses babies

From Left to right; Asda George Christmas Minnie Set , Next Red Baby Dress, TKMAXX Red Scotty Dress, Asda George Red Lace Dress, Asda George Tartan Red Dress Set, Jasper Conran Tartan Red Dress, Monsoon Baby Velvet Rosie Dress, River Island Mini Girls Red Prom Dress, Disney Minnie Mouse Christmas Dress
Each one is ideal for a Christmas day and very reasonable in pricing with the lowest coming in at £8.00 (all Asda George ones) and most expensive £45.00. I know they grow out of them before you can say Merry Christmas, but being honest I'd pay for her to look so cute even if only for 5 minutes!
Dresses are sorted so now onto gift ideas.  We know babies aren't going to actually know what we've bought them so I've tried to vary the prices from budget to top end. Most of these are more for the parents to be honest...
The Sentimental Gift

I saw this and loved the idea of it.  Personally I've always appreciated those gifts I had as a child to mark a momentous occasion, for me this will be something a baby can have throughout every Christmas... plus it's sweet and only £5.00!
The Personalised Gift
Christmas Gift Guide... Babies   My 1st years Personalised Reindeer Dressing Gown
I do like to always have a nose on Not On The Highstreet for unique gifts, (perfect for wedding gifts) but honestly how adorable is this dressing gown? You can get the child's name stitched on and it can work for girls as well as boys for £25.00.  The best thing about these kinds of gifts is that you far less likely to get the same as someone else.
The Practical Gift

Lily, like many babies, is sick sometimes and having a bib is a wise idea!  As it is Christmas time why not invest in a themed bib for the Christmas dinner situation? These two from Mamas and Papas are an absolute bargain at only £2.80 each.
The Classic Gift Christmas Gift Guide... Babies   John Lewis Baby Soft Penguin
When you say gifts for children and babies I immediately think of some kind of cuddly toy... it's always a safe bet if you can't think of what to buy.  In keeping with the John Lewis, Monty The Penguin, I've chosen this similar penguin from John Lewis. It's made in a soft material and very similar to those created by Jellycat.  This John Lewis Baby Soft Penguin is £16.00 and for something well made like this they could potentially carry this through whilst growing up.
There you go for some quick easy ideas for babies at Christmas, (particularly baby girls!)  I hope it's helped.  As always any queries, questions or suggestions leave me a comment below.
