Malcolm D. Lee Christmas family comedy “Rock The Bells” is in the works.
Malcolm D. Lee will direct the movie, and Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson will have writing duties.
No word yet on the synopsis of the movie, but we will keep you posted.
Lee is coming off the summer hit “Girls Trip.” The first $100 million-grossing film with an all-African-American creative team in front of and behind the camera.
Lee is currently directing Kevin Hart, Yvonne Orji and Tiffany Haddish in the comedy “Night School.”
First of all, Kevin Hart is producing “Night School,” for his Heartbeat Productions.
The movie follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend night school hoping that they’ll pass the GED exam.
“Night School” opens September 28, 2018, the same weekend as A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
