Recap
This movie follows a massive family who get together for Christmas and take part in a tradition. However, it is their last Christmas together in this home and some of the family members are tired of the traditions.
Best Parts
The movie does a good job of reflecting the chaos of Christmas when it comes to having a family this big. It shows everybody needs time to catch up while remembering why they came together in the first place. This genuinely makes you feel like you could be part of the family and their celebrations. The odd moments can get laughs, with the police partnerships being the highlight of the movie.
Worst Parts
The negatives from this movie come from the extremely large cast and it is hard to keep up with everything that is going on. It can lack focus on what is going on, but that can be covered by making it feel like an overview of the big celebrations. This can also be reflected in what feels like a lack of overall story going on.
Final Thoughts –Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point reflects the chaos of a massive family Christmas.
