Christian filmmaker, Michael Sajbel latest thriller, “Wraith” will be available on DVD/Blu-ray on Tuesday, May 8th, and in anticipation of the upcoming release, FirstLadyB talked with the Sajbel about the film, and what inspired him to write and direct it.
Sajbel, has a Hollywood career that spans more than 2 decades, he directed one of our favorite movies of all time “One Night With The King” where he brought the book of Esther to life!
His latest project Wraith, which is out on DVD tomorrow (May 8th), is a super-natural thriller. After living in an old mansion for almost 10 years a family suddenly discovers a ghost-like presence trying to communicate with them.
The film keeps you on the edge of your seat, with a pro-life undertone, and an ending you wouldn’t expect.
Michael shared with our site what inspired him to write and direct Wraith, and he shared two things:
- Wanting his daughter and her friends to be able to watch a scary movie without all the graphic scenes and vulgar language.
- Hearing a story about a woman in Wisconsin who said she had a Ghost in her home.
- Being able to film back in his hometown of Wisonsin, was icing on the cake.
I shared with Sajble that the film gave me a Sixth Sense, Exorcist vibe, and he replied that I was spot on.
