Chopin Hotel Bratislava: A Review

By Monkeys And Mountains Adventure @Laurel_Robbins

I stayed two nights at the Chopin Hotel Bratislava, managed by Vienna International Hotels & Resorts.  It’s conveniently located near the airport (although we drove from Munich) and the business park.  There’s also a large modern shopping mall just steps away and a bus station that takes you to the Old Town.

The service at Chopin Hotel Bratislava impressed me right from the start.  Our check in was smooth and we were provided with helpful information on the best way to get to the Old Town and even with a helpful tip on free parking which we greatly appreciated. On our second night some noisy guests outside of our room were handled promptly, but politely by hotel staff.

The rooms were nothing fancy, as to be expected with a three-star hotel, but were clean and a good size.

The breakfast buffet was really good, featuring a wide selection of both hot and cold dishes. I went back for second helpings each morning.

Although I didn’t try it, I noticed that the restaurant also served gluten-free pasta at lunch and dinner.  As a celiac (someone who is allergic to gluten), this is something that few restaurants do, but is always appreciated.

There’s also a spa at Chopin Hotel Bratislava, but unfortunately I didn’t have time to check it out.  Next time!

Admittedly, I’m more of a four-star or boutique hotel kind of person, but our stay was pleasant enough and served our purpose and the location can’t be beat if you need to be close to the airport.  Vienna International Hotels & Resorts are found across Europe.  You can book your stay directly from their website.

Thank you to Vienna International Hotels & Resorts for making my visit possible.  As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
