Choose and Rock Your Prom Dress

By Berrycreamie @mhi1106
Choose and Rock your Prom Dress Junior and Senior Prom is coming! When I was still in High School, this is my most awaited time where I can dress up and put on some makeup (I attended a Catholic School so yeah, no makeup allowed, unless it’s prom night!). This is the time where we mingle, dine, dance, and party with our friends at school. And it’s totally allowed – by our teachers and parents!

Well, this is also the time where almost all the girls are queuing in salons to get their hair and makeup done. Not to mention shopping for a cheap prom dresses! Hey, be it a cheap dress or over-priced one, it’s the party that we all looking forward to right? Okay, maybe some of you are also looking forward to be the Queen of the Night/ Prom Queen. So, to make your prom night one of your best teenage nights, choose a beautiful, flattering, perfect prom dress. Here are some tips to find out how to rock your prom dress.. • Search for your prom dress as early as possible Finding the perfect dress for your prom night really take some time. So begin searching for your prom dress early. A month before the prom is enough to search for your dress. This way, you will have plenty of time to decide what kind of dress you’d like to wear. And you have time to change your mind as well. • Be Unique If you plan on running to be the Prom Queen, make sure that your prom dress is unique. Different. Be yourself! And you’ll most likely win the crown. • Know your budget So you found this super gorgeous dress of a lifetime and it’s totally out of your budget. Will you buy it? That’s when Tip no. 1 comes in handy. When you start searching for your dress early, you’ll know how much money you’d have to save money. Just make sure that you have extra money left to buy your accessories. • Don’t overdo it It is always the best not to overdo it. Don’t over-accessorize, don’t overdo your makeup, and don’t overdo everything. I’m not saying that you have to be plain; I’m saying that you don’t want to make yourself look like someone you’re not. If your dress is simple, then pair it with a statement necklace or belt, or maybe an elegant shoe, and if your dress screams glamorous, just keep that way, or keep your accessories to a minimum. The night is yours. Don’t mind what people will say about you – or your dress. Being yourself is fine, no matter what you wear. Rock your prom night, baby!
