DPRK state media reported on 7 November (Thursday) that VMar Choe Ryong Hae (Director of the Korean People’s Army [KPA] General Political Department) visited the construction of the Masik Pass Ski Resort which KCNA reported “is near its completion thanks to the devoted efforts of the soldier-builders who are carrying out orders of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n) without fail.” Choe toured the ski resort’s construction where he encouraged the solider-builders to implement the on-the-spot instructions of Kim Jong Un.” According to KCNA, VMar Choe “called on them to successfully complete the project in the earliest possible period at the speed of a-match-for-a hundred in the 21st century and ‘Speed on Masik Pass,’” and “stressed the need to simultaneously push ahead with the construction of various structures at a fast speed, greening and land leveling.” Choe also “took measures to satisfactorily ensure the supply of necessary equipment and materials as the construction is progressing at the final phase.”
