Hands up who isn’t coping with this year’s spring transition weather offering? Coats are still a requirement but it ain’t exactly cold either. Lessons learnt when heading out on a first date at the weekend (!!) included that a coat and silk top are a good combination. This pale yellow and quilted gray combo is about as close to sports luxe as this blog will ever get, FYI.
As far as first dates go, I never know quite how to dress. I think it’s clear to all (on here at least) that my personal style is pretty much established by now - super feminine, classic and polished with a touch of quirk - so I never want to stray too far when meeting someone for the first time. I went with my pretty Celine bag and cut-out boots to round the look off, just about girly and polished enough without feeling overdressed!
