Cate medium textured-leather tote, Chloé. £885 at Net-a-Porter.
It's a new month and payday is approaching.
And I simply need the Chloé Cate bag in my collection.
A late night browse of Net-a-Porter led me to find this badboy. I was originally hunting the Clare shoulder bag that Ingrid (a.k.a. Missglamorazzi!) has but, equal parts classic girlish Chloe yet echoing that structured aesthetic that I favour in a good handbag, the Cate needs to be mine this summer.
Reasons why:
a) It has plenty of space, just like the Prada Saffiano (the luxe version of the blogger infamous Zara City Bag) but with a relaxed feminine feel. Good for: storing a book, my new tablet, the kitchen sink and twenty lipsticks.
b) That double zip detail adds just enough tough edge.
c) I just don't have a medium-sized structured bag.
