Last month renders of a new HMD branded phone called HMD Hyper with a sun-yellow color option surfaced. The tipster who posted this image has now released a new render, revealing all the color options of the upcoming midrange HMD Hyper phone. Apart from this, some specific specifications of the device have also come forward. Let's take a look at them.

The design of the HMD Hyper Phone is similar to the recently launched HMD Skyline with a mix of curves and sharp edges. But HMD Mim's has released three additional color options from their X Handle. Apart from the yellow color variant that was revealed earlier, the HMD Hyper Phone has now been spotted in teal, red and gray variants. The renders hinted at a glass back and a metal frame
The front of the HMD Hyper phone will feature a 6.55-inch OLED panel with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The selfie camera could be a 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus and FullHD video recording support. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Storage capacity can be expanded via microSD card slot.

The phone's triple-camera system is said to feature a 13-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, along with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
It is rumored that the HMD Hyper phone is expected to have a large 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It will come with a water resistant IP54 rating, stereo speakers for multimedia, Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi 5 for internet access and Near Field Communication (NFC) for wireless payments.

HMD has yet to confirm the existence of the HMD Hyper phone, but HMD Mim's is a reliable source for news related to the HMD and Nokia brands, so this information can reasonably be trusted. However, we have to wait for the official announcement about the price and release date of the HMD Hyper handset.
