The band go on to discuss how they feel like they’re sucking the life out of a room as they plead for someone to kill the party dead: ‘Had I known this was in store, I might have stayed home’. This is all delivered against swirling guitar hooks and a psych-tinged sound that falls somewhere between New Dad and The War on Drugs, albeit with added candour: ‘Wrap your arms around me, hold me like you’re not letting go’.
