A chiffon shirt dress is such a staple that everyone should have in their closets. The combination of the chiffon and the shirt dress silhouette allows for it to be a dress that without a doubt you will be able to wear over and over again.
You should also all know by now but anything that DVF makes will forever hang in your closet. I can personally attest to this one. I bought my very first (of now many) wrap dress when I was 19 to wear to a luncheon with my grandmother. Fast forward 10 years…yes 10 and that gem of a dress is still hanging in my closet and is still quite in style (even though it has a funky print!). It’s so funny how it really does work that way. I have learned over the years that if I shop less, invest in quality pieces, I end up keeping the garment and wearing it YEARS later!
To me, this DVF chiffon shirt dress is one of those pieces. Yes, the print is a little loud but that is the beauty of what DVF does, her garments are always loud and you still wear them over and over, year after year. Ok, so you probably get it right? I’m pretty much obsessed with this chiffon shirt dress because I know that it is an instant classic that I can’t wait wear handfuls of times.
