Chicago Fire actress DuShon Monique Brown, who passed away in March cause of death has been revealed.
The actress, who played Connie, the assistant to Chief Boden, on the NBC series, died from sepsis of unknown etiology, a representative for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office told PEOPLE.
Sepsis develops when the chemicals the immune system releases into the bloodstream to fight an infection cause inflammation throughout the entire body instead.
