Cherry-Picking In Penela Da Beira

We picked about 20kg of cherries in the home village of Penela da Beira this morning. The big cherry tree in front of Paulo’s grandma’s house was heaving with fruit and we couldn’t reach most of it, but we did our best. We left for lunch covered in pink and purple cherry juice — even Ice the Dog!
