What I like about this tablet are the screen size and battery life. Its 10-inch IPS HD display is perfect for presentations; not to mention, watching or streaming videos on Netflix, reading eBooks and occasional gaming. Accomplishing any task won't be a problem with its 5,000mAh battery.
Yes, I hear you. All these can be done on other devices like a laptop and a smartphone. But since I use my laptop mainly for work as well as blogging and video creation, I would like to give it the rest it deserves.
My three-year-old smartphone, on the other hand, is still very reliable. It helps me manage my blog's social media accounts especially Instagram. But it cases like presenting, watching and reading, I prefer a bigger screen. Plus, isn't it more convenient to carry one device that has it all?
Think about it! If you are on-the-go and you don't need to d a lot of editing, would you rather bring a laptop or a tablet?
A Minor Hiccup
We just recently purchased Cherry Mobile's Flare Tab Pro. At the moment, I can say it is serving us well. However, we had to return the original device we got at their The Annex - SM North EDSA.
There was an issue with the device's volume control rocker and power button. It takes a while to respond. And if it responds, it would adjust the volume automatically. For instance, after lowering the volume it would suddenly increase on its own. So we returned the device the very next day.
Quick Solution
If you encounter such or any problem, immediately go to the nearest Cherry Mobile Service Centre. Good thing they have a service centre in that same branch. Just make sure to bring the device and everything it came with plus the receipt and your I.D.
Side note: I am sharing OUR situation and experience. Just because this is what happened doesn't mean it will be the same for you. It is, after all, a case-by-case basis.used to describe decisions that are made separately, each according to the facts of the particular situation.
We carefully explained the issue to the staff at the service centre. Then she checked it herself. Once she confirmed our case, she wrote a report and asked to sign some paperwork. Then she asked us to come back after an hour for the last documents.
Upon our return, we were handed the documents which we presented at the store. Afterwhich, we were able to claim a new Cherry Mobile Flare Tab Pro. It was that easy. The staff who assisted us at the service centre was kind and respectful. *Thank you very much!
Oh, take note, double-check the device especially the issue you encountered previously. If you have a SIM card/s or a memory card, you can ask them to put it in for you.
Full Review Soon
As mentioned earlier, the Cherry Mobile Flare Tab Pro we bought is serving us well at the moment. Once I get to play with the device a bit longer, I will definitely post another full review in this blog and maybe, another video, too!
F or now, enjoy the quick look video I made.
