The Editor writes…
A great big Thank You to my friend Olivier and all the gang from Bruges. They've been joining me now for seven years here in London, to bring a student group on the Ghosts of the old City walk. And look at how they spoil me…
…with what they described as "The Sacred Beers of Belgium".
My default setting here is that the beers are too cold, too yellow and too strong (and, for the record, your chocolate doesn't have nearly enough sugar) but to that I have to add: my willingness to be swayed from such a parochial standpoint has resulted in some of the most enjoyable, ahem, research I've ever undertaken.
