Chasing Vintage Tees

T-shirts hold a very special place in my closet and it actually takes up half of the valuable real estate. My everlasting search for the  perfect tee transcends any price point. My search has taken me from the five dollar Forever 21 kind to the painful eighty dollar Rag & Bone.

What makes the perfect tee for me is the fit, durability, and worn-in vintage feel. My go-to brands for basics are Threads for Thoughts, Alternative Apparel, and the Victoria’s Secret Pink line. And per usual, a v-neck is my default cut.

Lately, I’ve traded in the vintage feel for vintage prints. Now that the 90′s have made a (huge) comeback- I’m obsessed with screen prints reminiscent of childhood fav’s (movies, Disney, Madonna, and so on). Vintage tee + denim cut offs are my summer staple. My favorite brands for “vintage-esque” prints are Forever 21, at the $10-$15 price points, and Chaser Brand- a little pricier at $30-$65, but well worth the money.
