No wonder the pro-gun guys are so full of it.  Did you ever hear such nonsense?  This was the NRA Convention in Charlotte NC on May 20, 2000.

I could go on, but you get the idea. Such overblown rhetoric should be laughed at, not taken seriously. Heston and his speechwriters are conmen preying on the masses of gun owners who, less discerning and more easily manipulated, actually take this stuff to heart. It's sad.
