Charlaine Harris, the author who wrote the Sookie Stackhouse series of books on which True Blood is based will be making another cameo appearance in True Blood’s final season.
Ms. Harris wrote on her Facebook page today:
“I shot a cameo for the last episode of “True Blood,” and now I get to go home and do my laundry! It’s been great meeting people on the road and signing books. But I need to work.”
Charlaine Harris appeared once before in a cameo in True Blood’s Season 2 finale. Read more about it here.
Back then, her cameo role consisted of sitting at Merlotte’s bar talking to Sam and she wrote about it saying:
“I was there most of the afternoon, though only an hour or so was taken up with shooting my scene. I ate lunch with Alan, talked to the cast when they weren’t working, had my makeup and hair done, watched the shooting on video, and toured the set of Sookie’s house.
I am no actress. But since I was in the scene with Sam, I just felt I was talking to him, and that made it much easier.”
