Charlaine Harris posted some good news and bad news on her Facebook page this afternoon. Back in April, we reported  that the Southern Vampires Mysteries author had sold her Harper Connolly book, “Grave Sight” to Syfy for development. Last month Harris reported in an interview that it was still theoretical. Sadly, it is now a no go. In regards to her final Sookie Stackhouse novel, “Dead Ever After,” that the book is 10 pages longer:

“On the plus side, the editorial changes for DEAD EVER AFTER are completed, and the book is over ten pages longer. It’s back on my editor’s desk. On the minus side, I can now tell you that the Syfy deal for the Harper books is a no-go. Back again to the (hopefully) plus side, today Toni and I find out how AN APPLE FOR THE CREATURE is selling.”
