Changing the Background Dramatically Changes Abstract Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

I continued to patiently work on this new abstract painting, carefully filling in the background with unbleached titanium.  It took time and care as I worked my way around each block of color. Now the painting has much more of a "mosaic" feel to it.

I also decided I didn't like the lemony yellow, and covered those blocks with brown.  When the canvas is dry, it will be ready for the next step in the process.
