Chanel Haute Couture FW 2020 2021: Loïc Prigent takes us to the ateliers of 31 rue Cambon, in Paris, to reveal the maison's savoir-faire.

The fashion house takes us to Paris and opens the doors of its four ateliers at 31 rue Cambon, where the premières, together with their team, give life to haute couture collections, to show the immense work that is hidden behind every single Chanel Haute Couture garment.

This collection is more inspired by Karl Lagerfeld than Gabrielle Chanel. Karl would go to 'Le Palace', and accompany these very sophisticated and very eccentric women ", so, on the day of the launch, the creative director Virginie Viard had explained the collection.
Behind the camera is Loïc Prigent. His attentive eye guides us dexterously between the exceptional workings and precious materials that take shape on the silhouettes created by Virginie Viard. The 'petit mains' reveal the difficulties of the individual materials, explaining that 'doing and undoing' is the norm in high fashion. Meters and meters of fabric to sew and mend, delicate processes to handle and place, to give life to a single creation. This is the magic of haute couture.
