Chance The Rapper and Dwyane Wade producing a basketball documentary based off, you guessed it a high school basketball team from CHICAGO!
The doc titled, Shot in the Dark is produced by the Los Angeles Media Fund, Wade and Chance. It’s about a high school basketball team in Chicago and is set to air in February of next year on Fox sports.
According to a press release, this is one of many docu-series titled ‘Magnify’ being released by Fox Sports Films and is said to be an “explorations of athletes’ on and off-the-field journeys that connect with the challenges, change and unity that sports can bring to communities.
The first doc produced by Sports Illustrated, called 89 blocks is about a high school football team in St. Louis and airs on Nov. 26 on Fox.
