Chana Dal3.jpg

Channa Dal is also known as Bengal gram in English. This dal needs more time to cook than any other dal there for I would suggest you to soak for 30 mins before cooking. I use pressure cooker which saves time and fuel. You can also cook it in a pot but it would take more water also you need to check from time to time that the dal doesn’t sticks to the bottom of the pan. I love this dal and often makes it at home. It is very simple and easy to make but the takes makes it taste more appetizing. I mainly put oniona and garlic in the tadka but you can add tomatoes and green chill to it if you like. Now let see how is it made.
