Verdict on Champions
Champions is a sports drama following a disgraced basketball coach who is forced to coach an intellectually disabled team. He doesn’t show too much interest at first but soon starts to enjoy getting the best out of the players. However, his dreams of returning to the professional leagues could ruin his new relationship with the team.
This is a sports drama that highlights the importance of treating everyone equally. It shows that anyone can achieve something in sports, but it is more about enjoying the time together. Madison Tevlin steals the movie with her sassy figure. While this does end up checking the boxes you expect for a sports drama, it does give a collective feel-good experience too.
Final Thoughts –Champions is an enjoyable feel-good movie.
