I couldn’t even begin to state my hatred for this year. First my favorite Laker gone and now my favorite superhero. It’s really been crummy and Chadwick Boseman’s death has absolutely rocked me. I had the fortune of meeting him while he was making the promotional rounds for Marshall, and I could barely maintain a modicum of professionalism to not base every question around his next film, Black Panther.
That turned out pretty well for him. My attempts at professionalism… well, not so much, but it’s not often you talk to the guy playing your favorite character on screen.
While I process everything, here’s some comments and tributes from Boseman’s Marvel Studios co-stars.
i will miss you, birthday brother. you were always light and love to me. my god …

All I have to say is the tragedies amassing this year have only been made more profound by the loss of #ChadwickBoseman. What a man, and what an immense talent. Brother, you were one of the all time greats and your greatness was only beginning. Lord love ya. Rest in power, King.
