This six-seat utility aircraft first flew in 1960, over 4,400 Skywagons would be produced from 1961-1985. The most distinctive feature of the 185 is the large dorsal fin for directional stability of the floatplane, this feature was later incorporated on the landplanes too. As seen on this fine example departing the annual Pacific Coast Dreams Machines show, Skywagons can also be fitted with amphibious floats, or skis. Nikon D300 w/300mm.
