Here is a not-so-remarkable photo of a not-so-remarkable aircraft coming in for a smooth landing. What was remarkable is that my wife was in the right-hand seat experiencing her first flight in a light aircraft. Free flights were provided to ladies of all ages as part of Women of Aviation Worldwide Week. March 8 is also the anniversary of the first female pilot license and the women’s aviation community organizes an annual week-long celebration of the Women Of Aviation Worldwide during the week of March 8.
