Someone is celebrating a landmark birthday—and it's not me. Actually, the iconic Hans Wegner‘s Shell Chair is turning 50 and to commemorate the event Danish manufacturer Carl Hansen & Son has partnered with textile companyMaharam to create 20 new re-editioned Shell Chairs—each with a different textile and coordinating wood frame.
