I spent this weekend in Stockholm partying! It was Nelly.com‘s 10th anniversary and was invited for a huge party over the weekend in that gorgeous city with 2 of my friends. I expected Nelly to celebrate big, but not this big! It was the most amazing party with lots of cocktails, amazing decoration, good food and music and of course party outfits! Here’s what I did.. :)
Nelly created an entire Nelly Hotel in Stockholm’s city center where all the festivities took place. Decorations were amazing, it got everyone in a party mood very early and they thought of every little detail! First we got our hair and make-up done and picked up a dress from a huge Nelly closet that they created in a suite of the hotel, after which we had an amazing dinner with Swedish and international press and bloggers..
After that it was time for drinks (lots of them as you can see in the last picture!) and dancing. Pictured are me and 2 of my best friends Sedie and Renate. We were all dressed in Nelly and I wore a really simple but cool black dress with high neck and asymmetric hem. I’ll see if I can get a better picture of it soon! We did change into sneakers lately because we danced all night on the two dance floors. I feel bad saying this but you should have been there, it’s hard to describe how amazing it was – from the decorations to yummy cocktails, nice and gorgeous people, really good music..
The morning after was quite rough (so many cocktails the night before) but went better once we went to a brunch with lots of delicious breakfast foods (eggs benedict cure any hangover) and we had a little time left to enjoy Stockholm so we went and did a little shopping, and after that it was time to leave unfortunately. The best thing I brought home is of course the memory of an amazing party with my dear friends but I’m also super happy with these Nelly boots pictured above, they’re so comfy!
