This is the debut single from Cambridge based outfit Tape Runs out. The two tracks provide a brief yet colourful snippet of the amazing layered, dreamy, showgaze atmosphere the band is capable of producing!

‘Friends’ is a soft shoegaze tune with a deep hazy sound. Drifting along the music brings forth a chilled out, yet vibrant atmomsphere that takes you someplace far away with a dreamy surround.

‘Flower’ brings in some earthy field recordings to bring out a colourful atmosphere making you feel like you are out at a park amongst various birds. The soft and subdued vocals add an extra layer of depth to the song without taking away from the backing soundtrack.

On offer are two stunning tracks full of color and life with a great chilled out atmosphere flowing through them. The big gripe here is there is not enough, with the music being over too soon leaving you wanting much much more!
