Cauliflower Paneer Puree

Cauliflower Paneer puree can serve a delicious protein rich weaning food for your baby. This puree is suitable for babies above 8 months of age. Cauliflower is a heart healthy food which supports brain function and immune system. We have added calcium rich paneer to make this recipe extra nutritious. Steamed cauliflower florets are pulsed with paneer (cottage cheese) cubes and breast milk or formula to get a yummy creamy puree.

Cauliflower Paneer Puree

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower florets – 1 /4 Cup
  • Paneer / cottage cheese – 2 Small cubes
  • Breast milk / formula to thin out the puree
  • Black pepper powder (optional) – a Pinch

Method:

  1. Wash the cauliflower florets. Steam them in a steamer for 12-15 minutes or until they are tender.
  2. Transfer the steamed cauliflower florets to a grinder jar while warm. Add paneer cubes and pulse couple of times to get a smooth puree.
  3. Add breast milk or formula to thin the puree as per desired consistency.
