The Cattle Milkshake Bar is located at the 2nd floor of The Annex SM City North Edsa. It's a bright and colorful 30-seater shop with a pretty sky ceiling, cowboy hat lights and white-washed walls filled with inspiration.
Besides the beautiful wall, the mint chairs and couch caught our attention! The refreshing color accented with candy plush pillows greeted us and gave us instant feelings of happiness and optimism. We haven't tasted anything yet but we were already having fun.
So what exactly is in store for Cattle Milkshake Bar customers, you ask?
Plenty!
The Concept
During our visit, we were able to meet Ms. Ma. Francesca Herrero, AVP of Cattle Milkshake Bar™. She said that the shop opened its doors on June this year and other Cattle Milkshake Bar branches are set to open.
Basically, the Cattle Milkshake Bar features three milkshake categories: New Zealand's Best, Signature Herd and Famous Named Shakes. Under each of these is a list of unique and great tasting milkshakes.
If you're a chocolate lover, New Zealand's Best is where your heart should be. But if you prefer something classic try any of the Signature Herd Shakes or the Famous Named Shakes to surprise your taste buds.
Moreover, Ms. Francesca added that Cattle Milkshake Bar can adjust to their customer's needs. Let's say you're lactose intolerant but love milkshakes, just let them know and they will use a different milk to create your desired drink.
The Combo Ranch
What we love about the Cattle Milkshake Bar is the great combos. In order to taste most of their offerings, we ordered the Combo Ranch. There are three choices and we were able to try each along with our choice of milkshakes.
Signature Herd's French Vanilla and Cheese n' Cream are both delicious. The only difference is the classic taste from the former. My co-blogger Jeanette loved this flavor because of the simplicity and balance. The latter, on the other hand, gives you more texture due to the creamylicious shake with white chocolate chips. The third one we tasted was Monalisa, a Famous Named Shake. Sofia (newbie blogger - will announce soon) and I truly enjoyed this because of the Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Bueno mix topped with more goodness.
For the sandwiches, we enjoyed the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and the German Franks. The only problem we had was with the Chicken n' Cheese. We love wheat bread and lettuce but the chicken and cheese which are the stars wasn't evident enough.
Besides these, we were also able to sample their nachos which was really good. There was a good amount of delicious sauce and toppings. For dessert, we had Reese's Cheesecake. This is the first time we tasted a cheesecake with Reese's in it. It worked surprisingly well to be honest. Also, here's a statement from our resident cheesecake lover.
Moreover, we were also able to meet and speak with Ms. Irene Herrero, President of Cattle Milkshake Bar™. We learned that most of their offerings are homemade and the ingredients they use are only from the finest suppliers. And since they serve sweets, they use a bit of honey instead of sugar. Furthermore, they have also consulted dietitians and nutritionists - so expect only the best from Cattle Milkshake Bar!
