CASTING NEWS | Familiar Faces Tapped for Arrow-verse Crossover

As far as casting goes, this is some big news.

Arrow-verse fans finally have their Lois Lane. You might know Elizabeth Tulloch from the NBC series Grimm. She’s now set to opposite Tyler Hoechlin as Superman’s love interest.

We have yet to find out how many episodes Tulloch will appear as the iconic character whereas Hoechlin’s Superman will be featured in all three episodes of this year’s crossover event.

On the opposite end of the superhero spectrum, Cassandra Jean Amell has been tapped to play supervillain Nora Fries, wife of Mr. Freeze. And if you’re thinking “Amell?” you’d be correct. She is Arrow star Stephen Amell’s (Oliver Queen) wife.

The three-night event kicks off on The CW with The Flash at 8 PM Sunday, December 9, followed by Arrow at 8 PM December 10 and capping off with Supergirl on December 11.
