We’re off tonight for our annual ritual of chestnut-picking at the home village. There’s a yellow alert (rain) for this weekend, which means this painstaking activity will become even more painstaking, but there’s no way we will return empty-handed!
This is my 3rd season of castanhas, and Ice’s 2nd. At this time last year we’d had him only a week, and he was so tiny!
