Car AC Not Blowing Air From Vents

If Air barely coming out of vents in the car it means there is a problem with the air passage commonly called the air duct and makes the car ac not blowing air from vents.

In normal car air conditioning if the fan is set to maximum the amount of air coming out the ac vents should be also maximum, but if the car air conditioning vent barely blows out air it is not normal. Usually, the main reason is a blower problem or air duct blockage problem that restrict the amount of air coming out the vents.

When a mechanic troubleshoots the problem, the first culprit that will come into the mechanic mind is the blower has a problem because most often than not, the cause of the problem is a failing blower. But sometimes sliding blower wheel from the blower motor shaft is also the reason, there is another reason like the blower is having a faulty dashboard switch assembly, in this case, the blower will not operate on the maximum operation even if it was set on the highest setting.
Same as for the air duct blockage this will restrict the flow of a sufficient amount of air from coming out of the car air conditioning vent, the possible reason for this is because there are a closed or nearly closed air doors that are stuck inside from one of the air conditioning ducts which prevents the sufficient amount of air from coming out the car ac vents, it is also possible that an accumulation of debris such as leaves from a fresh air intakes restricts airflow from going into air duct all the way to the air vents, but the restriction of air can only be felt when the car air conditioning is set to "fresh".
Car trouble symptoms
(1) Not enough amount of air is coming out the car ac vents even when the fan is at maximum setting or more worst than that is the car AC is not blowing air from the vents.
Possible cause why Air Barely Coming Out of Vents in Car
(1) Problem on the ac blower.
(2) Air duct blockage.
To fix the problem, the first thing to do is to determine the setting of the ac system to where the problem is occurring, is it occurring in the fresh air setting or on the re-circulation switch setting.
If it occurs in a fresh setting If the problem occurred only when the air circulation is set to "fresh", meaning the air from outside goes inside the vehicle then it obviously be a problem of accumulation of debris on the intake port for fresh air, check if there is leaves that accumulates on the intake port that restrict the flow of air from coming out vents, remove that debris to solve the problem, the intake port is located on the outside beneath the cowl top, this is near the windshield base, just open the car hood to gain full access on the intake port.

AC Air Circulation Switch

If the problem occurs on either re-circulation or fresh setting
Sometimes its just a case of blocked or dirty AC filter, check the AC filter for any debrisand clean or replace if necessary.

However if the AC filter is fine and cleaned and still the ac vents barely blow air even if the car ac is set to "recirculate" then it is a more serious problem. In this case, you need a mechanic to check the problem, bring the car to a reputable shop specializing in auto ac repair and have it check.
Probably the mechanic will remove lots of parts before the car ac blower and air conditioning checked, this has to be done to give way on the checking of the AC duct. In checking these parts it needs some expertise of the mechanic so a car shop that specializes in AC repair is necessary.
