Capital Grill opened its door to customers just two weeks back. The primary focus of this restaurant is continental grill items. Situated close to the Rajouri Garden Metro Station the outlet is situated opposite to Tanishq store. Being a complete family restaurant the ambiance is comforting. The seats are covered in velvet giving the ambiance a classic look. Wooden frames can be seen on the sides while the bar is set on a fiery panel.
Capital Grill’s menu is extensive with Indian, Chinese and European cuisines. The presentation of each of the dishes was amazing. We were really impressed with the Drinks menu that we tried almost all of them. These bright colored drinks are not only catchy but also delicious. Some of the most innovative drinks we tried are:-
Two Lovely Friend – A triple colored drink with amazing refreshing flavors. Topped with apple slices. 10/10
Adam Apple – A unique combination of apples with a subtle taste of Cinnamon. You can’t get better than this. 10/10
Frozen Blue Ocean – Orange and Pineapple juice in blue curacao color. 9/10
Capi Green – Kiwi flavored drink with a hint of Pineapple. Looks like we are on a beach. 9/10
Fire in the Sky – A unique combination of ginger ale, orange juice and cola with Icecream on top. Looks like there is a fire in the sky. 9/10
Sangria – Mixed fruit Sangria with grape juice. Has a variety of fruits in it. 10/10
Apple Berry Smoothies – A unique combination of Apple and Beery in a smoothie consistency. 8/10
The other drinks we tried were Cranberry crazy, Red Lips Watermelon, Sexy Pink Lady and Kiwi Rocks. Each had its distinctive taste and unique flavors. Capital Grill turned out to be excellent when it comes to the drinks department.
Moong Dal Seekh – A unique seekh shaped grilled Moong Dal combination served with onion salad and green chutney. The flavor of the moong dal were deep embedded with the seekh. The combination went really well. A very healthy grill option. 9/10
Crispy Veg Salt and Pepper – Have tried this dish at many places but I can bet that Capital Grill’s Salt and Pepper is the best. Please come to Capital Grill and try these. This snack was light on stomach. Amazing! 10/10
Falafel’s with Hummus and Pita Bread – Moist Falafel’s served with Hummus and Pita Bread. This platter has gone to almost all the Indian restaurants menu and each has its own style. Loved the one served here. 8/10
Veg Hakka Noodles – Simply love thin noodles and this one was so damn flavorful. The noodles were tossed with vegetables and finished with spring onion. So damn delicious. 10/10
Veg with Schezwan Sauce – Exotic vegetables in Schezwan sauce. Great combination with Hakka Noodles. 8/10
Cottage Cheese Steak with Mushroom Sauce – Loved the Cottage Cheese Steak here as it was topped with creamy Mushroom sauce. The steak is served with mashed Potatoes and grilled vegetables. You also get a portion of Mushroom sauce extra just incase. Loved the flavor of this combination. The mashed potatoes binded everything together. The presentation of this was extraordinary. 9/10
Veg Biryani – Vegetable Biryani served with raita. The biryani was great in taste and not overly spicy but mild. Served in a large pot to keep the flavors intact. 9/10
The food at Capital Grill was awesome and we couldn’t wait to try their desserts. The desserts menu was unique and had some very different items like:-
Pink Kheer – A kheer made from beetroot. You would be able to make out that the kheer was made from beetroot even after finishing the dish. 10/10
Capital Grill Pan Kulfi – Great presentation of the Pan Kulfi topped with Gulkand. 9/10
Capital Grill Special Pastry – A truly special cake made from Lauki or Bottle Gourd. Topped with freshly cut fruits. 8/10
The service was good but could have been better. But with only 2 weeks in operation this would definitely get better with time. The experience of Capital Grill was amazing.
