With the completion of 20 years of Canon's presence in India, the brand has launched yet another flagship professional camera called EOS 6D Mark 2.
EOS 6D Mark 2 Highlights:
EOS 6D Mark 2 is the successor of EOS 6D. But it can also be called the refined version as it offers more or less the same features at the same price. EOS has worked on its speed, focus and picture depth giving it a slight edge over it competitors.
EOS 6D Mark 2 comes with Vari-angle touch panel,
26.2 Megapixel Full Frame CMOS sensor, upto 40000 ISO, 45-point all cross-type Dual Pixel AF system, DIGIC 7 image processor. Canon has given a true mix in this camera for professionals as well as for enthusiasts as it offers upto 6.5 frames per second photography, enough to catch any sport or moving object. Canon has gone a step forward in its videography by offering a 4K Time Lapse Movie.
EOS 6D Mark 2 comes with in-built GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for easier and quicker photo transfer process. You can also cast the screen of your DSLR to smartphones using Wi-Fi which allows custom videography. EOS 6D Mark 2 is undoubdetly a brilliant product but its not so aggressive pricing sets it lower than its competitors.

EOS 6D Mark 2 is lightweight and rugged. The camera weighs 685 grams (body only) and 765 grams including battery and card. Although, the body weight is decently light but when the lenses are connected, it becomes quite heavy and one might have to use tripod for continuous use.
Coming to dimensions, this new Canon camerais 144 (W) * 110.5 (H)* 74.8 (D)MM. It has robust weather sealing against dust and moisture to make it suitable for demanding professionals and enthusiasts.

EOS 6D Mark 1 or EOS 6D Mark 2?
With no significant difference in the prices of two cameras, EOS 6D Mark 2 definitely offers better quality of speed and clarity with all the features of mark 1. It offers some new features like 4K time lapse movies which were missing in Mark 1
